The Appenzeller Huus is a place of power with a leading and forward-looking eco-system that creates meaning for the body, mind and soul of guests, owners and employees alike. The Appenzeller Huus comprises a three-, four- and five-star hotel with different product offerings for the health-conscious, romantics, connoisseurs, sports enthusiasts, families and seminar guests who appreciate the combination of modernity and tradition. The five star hotel is a pure wellness hotel with a leading and pioneering indoor and outdoor offer. It is built in a sustainable and globally unique solid wood construction method using regional wood with local processing. The energy supply is ensured by state-of-the-art roof and façade solar panels as well as geothermal probes. The gastronomy includes upscale, vegetarian and regional restaurants. The building also includes various event, seminar and co-working areas, a clubhouse, an Alpstein view lounge, the largest wine cellar in Switzerland and the Appenzeller Forum as a cultural foundation. The ecosystem also includes the owners of the apartments in the four other buildings, who benefit from the comprehensive range of services and wellness facilities.

Natural elegance down to the last detail

All flats are characterised by high-quality and natural materialisation with a load-bearing solid wood construction and a base made of stone from the region. Thanks to the purist interior with deliberately placed accents, the rooms shine with a timeless elegance that exudes a modern cosiness. There is also room for individuality: the kitchen and bathrooms can be designed according to personal taste in different finishing lines. Rüssli Architekten, led by Justin Rüssli and his wife Mimi, are managing the project architecturally and in terms of interior design.
